Gökçe ATALAY ÖZGÜR

I have been working as an English teacher since 2008.I teach at a Secondary school in İzmir,Turkey. İzmir is one of the most beautiful cities in the word. I joined e-twinning family in order to contribute to my self-improvement and to support my students with the help of the projects ı am involved in. I am also interested in Erasmus+ projects. I believe that only being a part of a group and sharing will help us improve ourselves and become a global citizen. I strongly agree with John Dewey's famous quote on this point:'Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.'Furthermore,using Web 2.0 tools makes our job easier and more enjoyable.My hobbies are travelling around the world and exploring new cultures.So far ı have travelled to more than 20 countries.I can call myself a  non-stop learner.As a teacher I follow our greatest leader Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK's way as he said 'Teachers are the one and only people who save nations.'
