Include your students in the planning process when you decide on the project you plan to work on and incorporate them in the planning process.Let your students feel from the start that they are an indispensable part of this passionate journey. What they want to know ;exchange ideas with them.This will help you in the implementing period of the project.Another important point is that you have to exchange ideas with the project partners on the project topic. Share the project idea with them and strengthen your project idea together.Decide on different areas of interest and motivational issues. This is one of the most important points in the project implementation process to provide the active participation of the project partners and improve the efficiency of the project.
Tip: Continue by questioning.Getting the students’ thoughts and opinions continuously in your project work, and its being open to the interpretations of the involved students can reveal the pedagogical side of your project of your progeny.
- Project activities should be conducted in a way that requires student-centered and high-level cooperation. When designing your project activities, be careful to design the each activity in a way that require cooperation.Otherwise the activities you plan to perform can be transformed into activities that each partner school can do independently of the other schools. This can lead to a risky outcome for the quality of the project.Remember that the quality eTwinning projects are the ones which have the results that are created in an equitable and collaborative manner with active participation of each partner school.
*Quality eTwinning projects are the ones that can achieve a great interaction between partner schools in the field of communication. It is important to ensure that all work done is shared among other teachers and students. You can take advantage of a variety of existing online tools such as surveys, short tests, or video conferences that you can use to meet each other and work together in real time.
*During the project, be sure to get information about the yearly holiday periods in the project countries so that your project work are not interrupted and consider this point when you make up project activity plan. Planning of your project activities in this way will be more realistic and there will be no delay in your project activity plans. You can also exchange information on this topic with your partners.
*Beforehand, you should decide on how and by what means students and teachers will evaluate the project on a weekly, monthly or at the end of the project and share this with your partners as well. Before you start, think again about the strengths and weaknesses of your project. Make changes on it if necessary. Make sure that your project plan and activities are flexible enough to make changes when needed.
